Steel boathouse construction for Central Texas lakes

Boathouses are one of the most common waterfront structures built on Central Texas lakes. Waterfront Unlimited projects often involve replacing older structures with durable steel boathouses designed for long-term performance.

  • Single boathouses
  • Double boathouses
  • Triple boathouses
  • Boatlift systems
  • Upper-level concrete patios

How We Build

Construction Methods & Materials

Every Waterfront Unlimited boathouse starts with steel pilings driven to refusal using heavy equipment — the point where the piling cannot be driven further into the lake bed. This creates the deepest and most stable foundation possible for the site conditions, and is a primary reason our structures have consistently performed through flood events on Central Texas lakes.

Boathouse frames are constructed with steel, and decks are poured concrete — materials chosen specifically for their durability and longevity in waterfront conditions. Custom cradle lift systems are sized and configured for the specific watercraft, whether ski boat, pontoon, or jet ski.

Upper-level concrete patios are built on the same steel frame as the boathouse below, creating a durable elevated outdoor space. Construction is performed using both land-based equipment and marine barge, providing full access to the project site from both shore and water.
